Melissa Lynde joined the Health Technology Program at the Franklin County Technical School in August 2022. Before working here, Melissa started her healthcare career as a CNA, working as one for nine years before getting her RN at Southern Maine Community College. Melissa worked at Maine Medical Center for two years before moving back home to Western Massachusetts. Melissa then worked at Baystate Children's Hospital, Cooley Dickinson Hospital, and as a School Nurse for four years. Melissa obtained her Bachelor's degree from Saint Joseph's College in 2019.
Melissa is working hard to teach her students compassion and integrity while emphasizing good employability skills. She believes in hands-on learning and works on various opportunities for her students to go out in the community.
Melissa continues to work per diem at Cooley Dickinson Hospital and is starting classes to obtain her Vocational license.

Jordan Wyman joined the Health Technology Program at the Franklin County Technical School in September 2022. She is working to establish the Medical Assisting program for the 2022-2023 school year.
Jordan works to create an environment where students are encouraged to thrive in the healthcare field and find their own path in the industry. She enjoys helping the students explore topics such as providing empathetic care, exploring different health conditions, and the array of career opportunities within the healthcare industry.
Jordan holds a CNA and HHA certification, as well as a Medical Assistant certification from Greenfield Community College. She then moved on to complete her Associates in Science degree with a focus in Radiologic Technology from Holyoke Community College.
In addition to FCTS, Jordan works as a radiologic technologist at Baystate Franklin Medical Center.
