FCTS proudly recognizes Carsten Couture, a senior in the Electrical program, who was recently honored at a small ceremony celebrating his receipt of the highly selective and prestigious MROTC (Marine Reserve Officers’ Training Corps) scholarship. Surrounded by family, friends, and faculty, Carsten was presented with an oversized check totaling $180,000, representing the value of this exceptional award.
The MROTC scholarship is awarded to a small number of students nationwide and recognizes academic excellence, strong leadership potential, character, integrity, and a demonstrated commitment to service. The scholarship covers full tuition and fees, books, and a living stipend, making it one of the most competitive and comprehensive awards available. Carsten’s accomplishment reflects his hard work, leadership, and dedication, and the FCTS community is proud to celebrate his success.
