FCTS Title I Information

What is Title I?

Title I is a federal program that provides additional support to help students succeed academically and in vocational programs. At FCTS, it supports Math and English instruction, provides accommodations in vocational-technical shops, offers MTSS tutoring for students who fall behind, and funds parent and family engagement activities like the annual Title I workshop.

Parent & Family Engagement

FCTS values families as partners in student success. Parents and guardians can participate in school programs, provide feedback on Title I programs, attend the annual Title I workshop, and complete the Annual Family Engagement Survey to help improve services.

Parent Rights (ESSA Section 1116)

Parents/guardians have the right to be informed about their child’s academic and vocational progress, participate in the planning and evaluation of Title I programs, access information on standards and assessments, and receive timely updates on family engagement opportunities.
